About Your Host:
Steve Menzies is one of the most celebrated figures in rugby league history. Over a remarkable 20-year professional career, Menzies played 349 NRL games and scored 180 tries, making him the highest try-scoring forward in premiership history. He also represented Australia in 13 Test matches, New South Wales in 20 State of Origin games, and was a key figure in Manly’s 1996 and 2008 premiership victories.
His accolades include multiple Dally M positional awards and induction into the NRL Hall of Fame in 2018.
Beyond the field, Menzies has remained active in the rugby league community and has been involved in various charitable endeavours. His legacy is further cemented by the naming of the Fulton-Menzies Stand at Brookvale Oval, honouring his contributions to the Manly club.
